Admission Process

Candidates applying to the undergraduate programmes at BITS-Pilani are required to:

1. Appear for Grade 12 (qualifying) examination, Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) and SAT subject tests (in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics Level 2)

2. Request College Board to send SAT scores to BITS-Pilani (DI code: 7759–BITS Pilani).

3. The SAT Subject Scores must be received by April 10th, 2020 and the SAT Scores must be received no later than June 15, 2020. (for those students who have already taken the SAT Subjects Test by March 14, 2020)

4. The SAT Subject Scores must be received by June 1st, 2020 and the SAT Scores must be received no later than June 15, 2020. (for those students who will be taking the SAT Subjects Test on May 2, 2020)

5. Fill the application form online before April 10, 2020. (who are already appeared as well as who are planning to appear for SAT Subjects Test should apply on or before April 10, 2020)

6. Upload the required documents such as Grade 12 marks sheets, photograph, copies of passport, etc. (if transcripts are not available, submit by September 15, 2020). Passport should be valid for a period of minimum six months from the date of joining the institute.

7. Submit the application and pay the application fee online only.

8. On completion of the application form online and payment of application fee online, an acknowledgement will be generated and candidates should keep this copy of the submitted form and payment details (acknowledgement) with themselves for any future use. Additional or missing information if any may be requested by BITS through email from the candidates. Please quote the application number in all your correspondences related to admissions.

9. The merit position of all eligible candidates will be prepared on the basis of their SAT Subject Test Scores.

10. Candidates may also be interviewed before offering admission. Pl. check the website (www.bitsadmission.com/ois) for knowing details about Interview dates and other communications.


Important Notes:

Admission offers for those students who submit the SAT Subject Scores on or before 10th April, 2020, will be announced through the website (www.bitsadmission.com/ois) during 4th week of April 2020 with details of reporting date, scholarships and other requirements and relevant information. Candidates will be given ten (10) days to accept the offer and pay the first semester fees. Once the fee is paid, BITS would then send the printed copy of admission letters to the students requiring applying for VISA.

Admission offers for those students who submit the SAT Subject Scores on 1st June, 2020, will be announced through the website (www.bitsadmission.com/ois) during 2nd week of June 2020 with details of reporting date, scholarships and other requirements and relevant information. Candidates will be given ten (10) days to accept the offer and pay the first semester fees. Once the fee is paid, BITS would then send the printed copy of admission letters to the students requiring applying for VISA.

All information and communication regarding International student admission-2020 are made available to the candidates on the International student admission website (www.bitsadmission.com/ois). Candidates are advised to view this website regularly for up-to-date announcements and all related information for admissions under this scheme.
