Workshop in "Multiscale Simulation of Advanced Materials"

A Workshop is being planned to be organized at BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad Campus during December 18-19, 2017.

This workshop will provide an introduction to multiscale Green’s function (GF) method for static and dynamic modeling and simulation of modern advanced nanomaterials, particularly the two-dimensional (2d) materials. The GF method is a powerful technique for modeling of materials and physical processes. It has been used in almost all fields of science. This technique is ideally suited for modeling modern nanomaterials and advanced materials because it is naturally and inherently multiscale. The multiscale simulation of Metamaterial will be discussed in this workshop. Challenges in Nanofabrication Technologies will also be covered as a part of workshop. The main objective of this workshop is to create awareness among young researchers about the challenging and growing field MSAM; to introduce MSAM, fundamental principles and wide range of its industrial applications. At the end of the workshop, participants would get a chance to interact with MSAM professionals from various research organizations.
